Comprehensive dentistry is "whole picture" dentistry. It looks at all areas of your oral health, including how your bite functions, the health of your teeth, and the cosmetic appearance of your smile.
Treatment can include dental implants to replace missing teeth, Invisalign for straighter teeth, porcelain veneers to modify the shape or color of your teeth, occlusal splints to treat TMJ problems, or teeth whitening to brighten your smile.
What can you expect during treatment?
We do everything we can to help you visualize the outcome of your new smile while setting expectations before ever starting any treatment.
In some cases, the expertise of a specialist is needed to provide specific treatments or to consult with Dr. Dominick Curalli on which treatments are best for you.
Once treatment is decided on, we will start on the basics first. This includes restoring any loss of function, replacing missing teeth, and straightening crooked teeth.
Once a healthy foundation has been established, we will move on to cosmetic improvements to your smile.
Dr. Curalli has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education classes and been to many seminars and hands-on workshops, which is why he can provide effective treatment to his patients with superlative results.
Comprehensive dentistry can make a positive impact on you - inside and out!
The changes that comprehensive treatment can make are dramatic and often life-changing for our patients. They look, smile, and talk differently - more open and confident!

Actual Comprehensive Dentistry Patient
Len struggled with his front teeth ever since a baseball accident as a kid left him with missing and broken teeth. Even though it had been repaired, he would guard his smile and try not to let other people see too much of his teeth.
When another front tooth needed to be removed, we explained the replacement options for that tooth, but also informed him of additional treatment that could be done to improve the shape, alignment, and color of his teeth.
Len began comprehensive treatment that lasted about a year, but we kept him comfortable and smiling through the entire process.
With treatment now finished, he shows off his new smile with pride and has a clean bill of dental health!
Our Ballard dentist answers your questions.
In many cases, it is necessary to involve a specialist for segments of the treatment or for a consultation.
When a specialist is needed, Dr. Curalli communicates throughout the process with him or her to make sure the original goals are met, and the best treatment possible is available for our patients.
Your smile is in good hands!
It will vary in each situation. Some may need only a few appointments that will be completed in a couple weeks. Others require more involved treatment and healing time that can last over a year.
Before we begin, we will give you a detailed treatment to let you know exactly what to expect as to the length of treatment time and the number of appointments.
We try to make each appointment as efficient as possible, but we are also willing and able to phase treatment to accommodate your budget.
