Invisalign at Smile Ballard

Did you know that Dr. Curalli can place Invisalign? We have a lot of patients that would love to straighten their teeth, but the thought of having metal brackets in their mouth for years can sometimes be quite the deterrent. In certain cases, metal brackets are still the only way to properly straighten teeth. However, in some cases, Invisalign does just the trick.

Instead of traditional braces with metal brackets placed on each tooth, Invisalign usually requires composite(tooth-colored) buttons placed on a few teeth to help guide the clear aligners. Depending on how long the patient’s treatment plan is depends on how many aligners we send them home with.  The patient changes the aligners at home weekly and requires them to come back into the office every 4-6 weeks to make sure the teeth are positioning according to plan.

With Invisalign, you no longer have to worry about having your photo taken, avoiding certain foods, or struggling to brush and floss.
